Harrington Giving Day is here — your gift triples today
Harrington Giving Day Starts Now
The Trustees' Challenge — Match
Sam, Harrington Giving Day is officially underway — and for the next ten days, every gift you make to the Access Fund will be matched by the Trustees' Challenge. That means a $50 gift becomes $150 for a student who needs it. A $100 gift becomes $300. Every dollar is tripled, up to a $500,000 match pool.
Raise $250,000 in gifts and the Trustees unlock the full match — $750,000 total for the Access Fund. Last year, 1,900 donors came together to make this possible. The match pool is real, it is finite, and it closes in ten days.
A Promise Made in 1887
When Amos Harrington founded this college in 1887, he staked it on a single conviction: that no capable mind should be turned away for want of means. That conviction became the Access Fund — Harrington's need-based scholarship fund and the direct expression of our founding mission. Today, roughly of our ~2,050 undergraduates receive need-based aid, and Harrington meets 100% of every admitted student's demonstrated financial need. The average need-based grant runs about per year. None of that is possible without the collective support of this community.

You are part of a community that has always understood what access means — not as an abstraction, but as the reason students arrive at Harrington and stay, study, and go on to do meaningful work in the world. This is your moment to pay it forward. A gift of any size counts. The most common gift last year was $50 — and with the match, that $50 reaches students as $150.
Give Now — Triple Your Impact
Watch for updates throughout the campaign — we will share donor counts, match progress, and stories from the students your gifts directly support. The window is open. The match is real. We hope you will join us.
